Song of the Day #2,340: ‘Call Letter Blues’ – Bob Dylan

dylan_bootlegThis Bob Dylan blues track from the second Bootleg Series album is essentially the classic Blood On the Track song ‘Meet Me in the Morning’ with different lyrics.

When Googling facts about the song, I stumbled upon a website called ‘…Just Another Tune’ that really blew my mind in terms of its depth and insight.

Song of the Day #2,339: ‘Love Me Harder’ – Ariana Grande

ariana_grande_love_me_harderSitting at #10 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 is Ariana Grande, who has had about as good a year as anybody in the music world.

Song of the Day #2,338: ‘Jealous’ – Nick Jonas

nick_jonas_jealousI have a vague recollection of the Jonas Brothers being a thing several years back, but I couldn’t tell you how many years back, or what sort of a thing they actually were.

Song of the Day #2,336: ‘I’m Not the Only One’ – Sam Smith

sam_smithTaylor Swift sits at the #6 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with the juggernaut that is ‘Shake It Off.’ It’s upsetting that a song this bad is Swift’s biggest hit.

At #7 is Sam Smith with ‘I’m Not the Only One.’ Smith had a big 2014, his ‘Stay With Me‘ dominating the charts for weeks.

I don’t like that song and I don’t like this one. I don’t like Sam Smith. I do not like him, Sam I Am.
