As part of my Decades project, I counted down my own favorite albums of the year then explored other notable releases with which I was less familiar.

The year 1991 was my first year of college and the time when I started diving into new music headfirst. The albums listed here have a lot of nostalgic power, even it most of them haven’t held up very well over the years.
