The albums of 2001

As part of my Decades project, I counted down my own favorite albums of the year then explored other notable releases with which I was less familiar.

The year 2001 produced some of the decade’s best albums, including two very different works that topped by list: John Mayer’s debut, and the 29th studio album by Bob Dylan.
