Song of the Day #2,409: ‘All Along the Watchtower’ – Jess Greenberg

jess_greenbergYesterday, frequent commenter Dana joked that I could feature topless women singing Bob Dylan songs. Well, this is probably as close as you’re gonna get on YouTube.

Jess Greenberg is a very talented guitarist and vocalist who has opted to call attention to her music by putting her ample bosom on display. It seems to have worked, as all of her clips are at or above the 1 million view mark.

Most of the comments are about her breasts, even those that are also about her music. You see a lot of “You are so talented… why show off your boobs when you don’t have to?” followed by a lot of “Let her wear whatever she wants!”

Also a lot of “Nice tits!”

Greenberg, a London native, didn’t start out in this pin-up model fashion. Here’s a clip of her performing ‘You’ve Got a Friend‘ in a t-shirt. But somewhere along the line she made the wardrobe switch and catapulted herself to internet fame.

“There must be some way out of here,” said the joker to the thief
“There’s too much confusion, I can’t get no relief
Businessmen, they drink my wine, plowmen dig my earth
None of them along the line know what any of it is worth”

“No reason to get excited,” the thief, he kindly spoke
“There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke
But you and I, we’ve been through that, and this is not our fate
So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late”

All along the watchtower, princes kept the view
While all the women came and went, barefoot servants, too

Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching, the wind began to howl
