I was a new fan in 1992 when I met my wife and discovered we shared a love of the band’s album Fear. I remember listening to it with her repeatedly, in our homes and in our cars. Two years later, we discovered the brilliant follow-up, Dulcinea, together.
So Toad the Wet Sprocket will always be the band I most associate with meeting the love of my life. But it’s also a crackling good 90s alt rock act, as good as any of that era’s most popular groups.
