Song of the Day #4,976: ‘The Mandalorian’ – Ludwig Göransson

The newly 16-year-old Fiona continues sharing her favorite orchestral pieces…

“I could not make a list of my favorite soundtracks without including work from the incredible Ludwig Gӧransson. He has never failed to create original and yet familiar work by incorporating pieces of John Williams’ original Star Wars theme into his work on this spin-off.

No other song could introduce the mysterious Din Djarin like ‘The Mandalorian’ does. This track beats any TV intro music/song made in the last 10 years, hands down.”

I’m curious why you limit to the past 10 years your opinion that this is the best TV intro music/song made. Is that because you like something older than 10 years more or because you are just not as familiar with songs from TV/movies that came out before you were 6 years old? 😉

Fiona reports that she hesitated to say “all-time” so she went with the span of time she’s been a regular TV watcher. 🙂

This is definitely inspiring music. Think it’s my favorite so far ❤️

Daniel has been very busy this week, but he’s going to be excited to weigh in today on Ludwig!
