Fiona Apple has released only five studio albums over a 30-year career, but she managed to become one of my all-time favorite artists just the same. Her brilliant songcraft, confessional lyrics, and uniquely gorgeous voice make her one of the most challenging and rewarding performers in popular music history.
I’ve covered her catalog from the beginning, and hope I get the chance to hear new music from her sometime in the next decade. If so, you’ll find my reaction here along with everything else I’ve written about one of the greats.
