When I started looking for songs to fit my Stranger Things “predict the next 80s viral hit” challenge, Guns N’ Roses’ ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ was the first one I considered a slam dunk.
This anarchic classic has the perfect feel for a show about the threat of apocalypse, and the epic sweep of its soundscape — particularly in the opening minute — would beautifully match images of death and destruction.
I picture this song scoring the first trailer for Season Five, welcoming viewers back to the jungle of Hawkins, Indiana, for one final adventure.

[Additional Note: I made this selection before seeing Thor: Love & Thunder, which uses this song and several other Guns N’ Roses hits on its soundtrack. If Guns N’ Roses has a moment due to that film, it could preempt the chance for it to happen on Stranger Things.]
