‘We All Want Love’ is a cut from Rihanna’s 2011 album Talk That Talk, at that point her sixth album in seven years. She released Unapologetic the following year, then took an uncharacteristic four-year break before dropping Anti, arguably her best work to date.
And since Anti… six years and counting, with many promises of new material, none of them fulfilled. Rumors of an imminent release have persisted since at least 2019.
In the meantime, Rihanna has grown a business empire that includes popular cosmetics and fashion lines, and is now the richest female musician in the world, with a net worth approaching $2 billion.
I guess we can forgive her for the lack of new music.
