The albums of 1976

As part of my Decades project, I counted down my own favorite albums of the year then explored other notable releases with which I was less familiar.

The year 1976 found a quartet of veterans making up my own list of favorites, but when I dug deeper I discovered a wealth of debut albums by artists who would go on to storied careers.
