Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’ – My Track-by-Track Ranking

Swift’s record-breaking fourth Album of the Year Grammy went to Midnights, a return to pop music after the two-album indie folk detour of folklore and Evermore.

I rank this album in the bottom half of Swift’s catalog, though repeated listens made me more of a fan of it than I seem to be in some of these posts.

I do think there is value in first impressions, and below are my earliest thoughts on one of Swift’s most sonically interesting albums.
