Song of the Day #2,099: ‘Show Me’ – Kid Ink

kid_ink_show_meMy ninth Billboard hit, #15 on the charts the day I did my snapshot, is ‘Show Me’ by Kid Ink, featuring Chris Brown.

I haven’t heard a bar of this song yet but already I’m dreading it. I see that the opening line is “Baby let me put your panties to the side” as sung by Chris Brown… I just know I’m going to need a shower after hearing this thing.

Song of the Day #2,098: ‘Best Day of My Life’ – American Authors

Mostly it’s the same songs just shuffled around a bit. So if you’re checking now and Aloe Blacc is higher than #10, that’s why.

Song of the Day #2,095: ‘Pearls’ – Sade

sadeThis is the first Sade song ever featured on this blog. I guess that’s not a major surprise, but between Random Weekends and mining my own collection, I figured I would have settled on one of her tracks by now.

I’m not a big Sade fan, though I do love her voice. Her genre is just one of the few that I have never gotten into. Smooth jazz R&B is great in the background but that’s about it.
