New Bob Dylan video ignites controversy
IFC recently aired a short film set to the song ‘Beyond Here Lies Nothing’ from Bob Dylan’s latest album Together Through Life and it’s caused quite a stir.
The song — the album’s first single — already has an official video consisting of black and white stills of young people in the 50s. This new clip is something else altogether.
Directed by Australian Nash Edgerton, the video is a real-time Tarantino-esque showdown between a man and the woman he is apparently keeping hostage in his apartment. Go ahead and watch it after the jump before I continue.
Local anchors’ reaction to LeBron’s game-winner
The 11 p.m. telecast of Cleveland’s News Channel 5 was winding down the other night when it looked like the Cavs were about to lose Game 2 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. More Bateman brilliance
Joe Carnahan’s Smokin’ Aces is a pretty bad movie… a wannabe-Tarantino cynical shoot-’em-up that fancies itself way more clever than it is.
But it contains one of those elevating Jason Bateman appearances I mentioned in my State of Play review.
