I’ve been a bad, bad blogger. It’s been a hectic couple of weeks at work and I have neglected the blog to such an extent that I am currently five hours from my next scheduled Song of the Day post and I have nothing scheduled to run.
That might not seem so bad if you don’t know that I generally write these posts at least one to two weeks in advance. All those Arcade Fire posts… when I wrote them, not only did we not know who the new pope was, I don’t think the old one had even stepped down.
So this is uncomfortable territory for me.
It’s also bad timing, as I’m about to spend a week at a conference, during which I don’t expect to have much time for blogging. So I am taking the easy way out, and offering up a week’s worth of clips, absent commentary, of hot women covering Beatles songs.
You can thank me when I return.

Woman? I don’t even know if she’d be legal. At any rate, yes, lovely rendition of a really nice song.
The Pope line made me laugh out loud. Meanwhile, how about just a little bit of commentary to explain how you come across/choose these random covers when you feature them? They are always some of my very favorite posts, as there are so many talented people who put their videos on YouTube, but I am curious how you select which ones you will feature.
I guess I’ll have to await your return for a response. Meanwhile, I can only hope that had the new Pope been chosen earlier, you never would have taken that misguided Arcade Fire detour! 🙂
I do a YouTube search for “Beatles cover” then scan the thumbnails for ho–, um, talented performers. 🙂
