Song of the Day #2,546: ‘Stitches’ – Shawn Mendes

shawn_mendes_stitchesI’m guessing Shawn Mendes appeals to my 13 year-old daughter in part because they’re practically in the same grade.

The Canadian lad is 16 and got his start posting song covers to Vine. Yes, Vine, which has a 6-second time limit. Talk about appealing to short attention spans!

bad_blood_kurt_schneiderI haven’t checked in with the multi-talented Kurt Schneider in awhile, but recently his latest one-take pop song cover found its way to my inbox.

In this clip, Kurt directs Macy Kate and Ben Kheng as they lip-sync their own version of Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ while traversing two floors of a Singapore hotel. It’s most impressive how the three of them pop in and out of the frame through some fancy footwork.
