Song of the Day #3,645: ‘Rocket Man (Live)’ – My Morning Jacket

A couple of days after yesterday’s performance, My Morning Jacket played a New Year’s Eve show in Boston and delivered this splendid cover of Elton John’s classic ‘Rocket Man.’

According to setlist.fm, Elton John is MMJ’s ninth most covered artist. They’ve played ‘Rocket Man’ 16 times between 2000 and 2016.

Song of the Day #3,644: ‘All Night Long (Live)’ – My Morning Jacket

One of the drugs, fentanyl, also contributed to the deaths of Prince and Lil Peep. This is certainly the only context in which Lil Peep’s name will ever be mentioned alongside those legends.
