Often after I make a list on this blog of any sort, I spend the next few weeks rethinking what I put on it and running into things that might have fit better.
When today’s song popped up as a random iTunes selection, I immediately wondered how INXS’ Kick escaped my list of the best albums of the 80s.
Did I consider it and dismiss it? I can’t imagine that I did. But how would I have missed it when it’s sitting right there alongside all of the other 80s music in iTunes?
This album absolutely belonged on that list, even if I can’t say off the top of my head what I would kick out in order to fit it in.
But I guess that’s why I have the Random iTunes Fairy, to help me make amends for oversights like this one.

I would have to look back at my list responding to your 80’s list to be sure, but I think I had inxs in there, though it may not have been this album. Their albums definitely deserve best of consideration. I’m sure there are a few albums I could kick off your list to make room for inxs:)
