Twenty one pilots have their second top ten song of the week with ‘Ride,’ sitting at #9. According to Wikipedia, this makes them the first alternative artist to have two songs in Billboard’s top ten at the same time. I wonder how they define alternative?
‘Ride’ is my favorite of the three twenty one pilots songs I’ve featured on the blog to date (the other two being ‘Stressed Out‘ and ‘Heathens‘).
In Billboard’s second spot is ‘Heathens’ , a track by twenty one pilots from the Suicide Squad soundtrack. This is one of two twenty one pilots songs on this week’s top ten.
This is the second twenty one pilots song I’ve featured, following ‘Stressed Out‘ from another Billboard round-up in March. Guess these guys are having a good year.
At Billboard’s #3 this week is ‘Stressed Out’ by twenty one pilots. This band is completely new to me, so I’m not sure what to expect from the song.
I like these lyrics, and the clever, non-rhyming line about wishing he didn’t have to rhyme when he sings seems familiar to me. So maybe I have heard this song through one of my daughters.
