Song of the Day #5,065: ‘That That (feat. SUGA)’ – PSY

I haven’t heard much mention of K-pop star Psy since 2012, when his ‘Gangnam Style’ video racked up billions of views on YouTube and turned the song into an international hit.

Psy has continued recording since then, but without another breakthrough hit. He released his seventh and eighth studio albums in 2015 and 2017.

Now he’s back with his ninth, appropriately titled Psy 9th, and might be poised for another worldwide moment.

Song of the Day #1,612: ‘Gangnam Style’ – Psy

gangnam_styleIt’s my favorite time of year already. Not just the holiday season but the year-end list season. Time to spend one month looking past on the pop culture achievements of the past eleven.

2012 has shaped up to be an excellent year for music and, if the films on my must-see list live up to their promise, for movies as well. Starting next week I will count down my favorite songs of the year.
