The Random iTunes Fairy must have been a little sore about my comments dissing Justin Timberlake two weekends ago because she’s serving up another helping from his 2002 debut solo album, Justified.
While I do like this more than the syrupy ballad we got last time, it’s not anything I ever need to hear again. Inviting Janet Jackson to feature on a second-rate Michael Jackson song doesn’t make you Michael Jackson!

All kidding aside, so far I’ve heard suggestions to keep things as they are, to serve up a ‘classic rewind’ feature, or to limit the random selections to new artists rather than music already in my collection.
Here’s a track from Justin Timberlake’s debut solo album, Justified, released in 2002.
Like most of the album, the track was co-written by Timberlake, Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams. I believe this is the first time I’ve heard the song, and god willing, it will be the last.
This track solidifies my opinion that Timberlake is a better actor than a pop star. I know he went on to bigger and better things, but isn’t it all pretty much in this vein?
Now that Breaking Bad has disappeared into the New Mexico sunset — following a final season that has deservedly won every year-end award in the universe — I’m left with a giant Walter White-shaped hole in my TV heart.
Breaking Bad might be my favorite show ever, but what will replace it as my favorite show currently on the air?
