Song of the Day #4,608: ‘On Earth As It Is In Heaven’ – Ennio Morricone

Happy Valentine’s Day, readers, but more important, Happy Birthday to my daughter Fiona, who turns 15 today.

This is a Random Weekend, so I get to spin the wheel and see if the Random iTunes Fairy can serve up something appropriate for the occasion.

Let’s give it a whirl…

Well, you can do far worse than the opening track of Ennio Morricone’s gorgeous soundtrack to the 1986 film The Mission.

Maybe I’ll get the family to sing this around the candles tonight instead of ‘Happy Birthday.’

Vita vita nostra tellus nostra vita nostra sic clamant.
Vita vita nostra tellus nostra vita nostra sic sic clamant.
Poena poena nostra vires nostra poena nostra sic clamant
Poena poena nostra vires nostra poena nostra sic sic sic

Sic ira ira nostra fides nostra ira nostra sic clamant
