At #7 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 is ‘Latch,’ a dance track by British DJ duo Disclosure that features vocals by Sam Smith. This is Smith’s second appearance in the top ten.
Oddly, the video for this song has more anti-gay comments than that of Smith’s own ‘Stay With Me.’ I guess the gay couple in this clip is more front and center, but they’re also a couple of hot lesbians, which I thought was cool even for the Neanderthals.
The song has a nice groove and vibe. Kind of a Sade feel.

I’ve heard the song, but had not seen the video before. I think it’s a well done video. The song is catchy as well.
This song is amazing. Sam Smith is one of the most talented artist of today. I love Stay With Me and this song, but I especially love this one. I think it’s great for a young gay man who doesn’t exactly fit society’s standards as far as weight is being appreciated for his amazing voice and great music. 🙂
