Song of the Day #1,844: ‘Kittens in a Bag’ – Boothby Graffoe

boothby_graffoeI am writing today’s post under extreme deadline pressure, just 15 minutes before it is scheduled to post. That’s what happens when I leave town for eight days.

This week I saw a great concert featuring Guster, Ben Folds Five and Barenaked Ladies. I’ll expound on it over the course of this week’s posts. But I’m kicking things off with a clip of comedian/singer Boothby Graffoe, who opened the show.

At least I think he opened the show, because my family and I were a bit late and missed his act. He did join Barenaked Ladies during their act and sang a lively rendition of ‘Be My Yoko Ono.’

Although we may have missed Boothby’s act, I suspect we got as many laughs making fun of his name as we drove to the show as we might have had actually watching his performance.

How fitting that you came so close to your “deadline” just days after coming so close to the “deadline” of the start of our concert 🙂

    Otherwise, what Dana says 🙂
