My final movie of the week is the most bonkers of the bunch. NetFlix’s The Perfection is best seen with no prior knowledge of the plot (although perhaps it’s best not seen at all, depending on your tastes).
Starring Allison Williams (Girls, Get Out) and Logan Browning (the Dear White People series) as cello prodigies and lovers, the film is packed with twists, turns and shocks. Director Richard Shepard plays with time and perspective in some neat ways. I’ll just leave it there.
