‘Superpower’ is one of the least engaging songs on Beyoncé’s otherwise excellent self-titled album. And I blame Frank Ocean.

I root for Ocean because of the whole gay thing. It took true bravery for a celebrated hip-hop artist to admit being in love with another man. That makes me want to like his music.
