Another number, another rap act struggling to find an audience.
The YouTube clip of NXGN’s ‘ELEVEN’ has a total of 16 views (mine included) and I find no web presence for the band apart from a Spotify entry and an “indie art” website called Hye TV.
Hye TV is, um, high on NXGN, calling them the “future of indie rap culture” and claiming “they’ve developed certain skills particular to Cole or Kendrick that provide a complexity yet simplicity to their lyricism.”
Perhaps the webmaster of Hye TV is a relative.
I’ll refrain from hating, though. This is a pretty good song.

You know this “featuring” phenomenon has gotten out of control when a no-name artist with 16 followers features another no-name artist.
