I don’t much like Lady Gaga as a person — or rather, I don’t much like the persona she has created. Her tiresome antics put her squarely in Madonna-wannabe territory, and I don’t much like Madonna either.
But again and again, I find myself really liking her music — from early hits ‘Just Dance,’ ‘Paparazzi’ and ‘Poker Face’ to ‘Bad Romance’ and ‘Telephone’ on her second album and the strong ballad ‘You and I’ on her less celebrated third album.
Even today’s random SOTD, a late track on her debut album, works in its own throwaway club crawl way.

So, let me get this straight. You own Gaga’s entire discography? Wow!
I concede she has talent, but that talent is often hidden behind production that could and does service far weaker artists. With the exception of “Bad Romance” and the acoustic version of “You and I” I heard on Stern, I have little use for Gaga or her music, including today’s song.
Well, she has released only three albums and two of them were sold as a combo pack, but yes, I own her whole discography/
I thought i really disliked her. Then I realized how talented she is – Probably that same interview on Stern. I think she is quite brilliant but I am not a fan of all that hype and promotion for her or Madonna.
